June 15, 2026:

• State Fair Registration Opens

June 17, 2026: Registration Open May 1 - June 14, 2026

• Custer/Fall River/Pennington County 4-H Horse Show: Register at https://fairentry.com/Fair/SignIn/22100

July 1, 2026:

• YLL training must be completed

July 20, 2026:

• Custer County Youth in Action Day at Custer Lutheran Fellowship (Communications Project, Consumer Decision Making Contest, Fashion Revue, and Special Foods)

July 27, 2026:

• Custer County Fair entries deadline https://custercounty.fairentry.com

August 1, 2026:

• South Dakota State Fair Entries due

August 6, 2026:

• Rabbit, Poultry, Companion Animal Show, and Small Animal Round Robin 8am-noon
• 4-H Interview Judging 12:30pm-5:30pm

August 7, 2026:

• Sheep and Goat Show 8am-noon

August 8, 2026:

• Swine, Beef & Dairy Cattle Show, and Large Animal Round Robin 8am-noon

August 9, 2026:

• Exhibits released and packed for travel to state fair 12pm-2pm
